Established by Pope Urban IV in 1264 (Transiturus de hoc mundo). Sequence Lauda Sion (St. Thomas Aquinas) sung at Mass. Celebrated on the Thursday after Trinity Sunday or, where transferred, on the following Sunday. The traditional Corpus Christi procession is a public profession of faith in the Real Presence.
