Epiphany, celebrated on January 6 (or the Sunday between January 2 and 8 where it is transferred), manifests Christ to the world in the adoration of the Magi, his Baptism in the Jordan, and the wedding at Cana. The blessing of homes with chalk is a traditional Epiphany custom.
