The nine daily intentions were recorded by Saint Faustina Kowalska in 1937 in her Diary, at entries 1209 to 1229, and the received prayer for each day is part of that text. The Diary and its standard English translation are under copyright and are not reproduced here; what follows names the day's intention in the editors' own words and gives the chaplet, whose formulas are public. The full received day-prayers should be read in an authorised edition of the Diary or on the Marian Fathers' Divine Mercy pages. Pope John Paul II canonised Saint Faustina on 30 April 2000 and on the same day established the Second Sunday of Easter as Divine Mercy Sunday for the universal Church.
