In 1917 the Blessed Virgin appeared six times at Fátima, calling for the daily Rosary, penance, and reparation, and entrusting a message centered on prayer for the conversion of sinners and peace in the world.

The Fátima message renews the Gospel call to conversion and intercession and fostered devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
