Collect of the Seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost (Da, quaesumus, Domine, populo tuo)
Grant to Thy people, we beseech Thee, O Lord, to avoid the defilements of the devil; and with a pure mind to follow Thee, the only God. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, etc. Amen.
