A Prayer in Honour of the Blessed Virgin and Her Mother, St. Anne
Prayer of intercession
A short traditional salutation that honours the Blessed Virgin together with her mother St. Anne, from whom Mary was born immaculate. St. Anne's feast, with St. Joachim, is kept on 26 July.
Hail full of grace, the Lord is with thee. May I partake of that grace. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed be St. Anne, thy mother, of whom thou wert born without spot or stain, O Virgin Mary; and of thee was born Jesus Christ, Son of the living God. Amen.
