biography
Saint Athanasius (c. 296-373), Bishop of Alexandria and Doctor of the Church, was the great champion of orthodoxy against the Arian heresy, defending the full divinity of Christ at and after the Council of Nicaea. Exiled five times for the faith, he wrote On the Incarnation and the life of Saint Anthony. He is called the Father of Orthodoxy.
