biography
Saint Dominic Savio (1842-1857) was a pupil of Saint John Bosco who resolved as a boy that 'death rather than sin' would be his motto. His cheerful, intense holiness, his peacemaking among classmates, and his devotion to the Eucharist and Our Lady made him a model for the young. He died at fourteen and is the patron of choirboys.
