Saint Henry II (973-1024), Holy Roman Emperor, ruled as a devout and just sovereign who promoted Church reform, founded the see of Bamberg, and lived with his wife Saint Cunigunde in a celebrated holy marriage. A Benedictine oblate at heart, he is invoked by the childless.
