John of Nepomuk, also called John Nepomucene , was a Bohemian clergyman. Due to his loyalty to Archbishop Jan of Jenštejn in a dispute with the Bohemian crown, he was executed by King Wenceslaus IV of Bohemia by being thrown into the Vltava.
