Biography
Saint Pope Paul VI (1897-1978) guided the Second Vatican Council to its conclusion and its implementation. He defended the Church's teaching on married love in the prophetic encyclical Humanae Vitae and proclaimed the duty of evangelization in Evangelii Nuntiandi. He was the first pope to travel the globe and was canonized in 2018.
