biography
Saint Vitus (died c. 303) was a young martyr of Sicily put to death in the persecution of Diocletian. One of the Fourteen Holy Helpers, he is invoked against nervous disorders and epilepsy (long called 'Saint Vitus' Dance') and is a patron of dancers and entertainers.
